Prayer Items:

• We praise God for spring! We are thankful for sunny days, and clear sidewalks that allow people to walk unhindered outside.
• We lift up Ron’s Wilkinson’s mother, Florence, who suffered from a stroke and is currently in a hospital in Burlington. May the Lord heal her, keep her safe and surround the family with wisdom and strength.
• We pray for the family of Eleanor Simmons who passed away this past week. We ask God for comfort, strength and hope to surround Eleanor’s family, especially her daughters Susan and Sandra, and friends who grieve her passing.
• Together we pray for parents. We lift up parents who are overwhelmed with work and child care, who are inundated with countless decisions, who put their families physical, mental and emotional needs before their own and at the cost of their own, and who have limited supports in this time of isolation. Lord, provide healing and reassurance for their souls, minds and bodies. Please grant them an extra measure of grace so that it can be passed to their children. Please fill the parents up with your wisdom and love.
• We lift up Nepal—Thousands have been left homeless after natural disasters. We pray that the church will be a source of hope and support to others in their time of need.
• Praise the Lord for His eternity. God has no beginning or end. He was, He is, and He is to come. We praise His unshakeable, everlasting presence in our universe, our world and our lives.
