A Christ-centered community where we bring, bless, build and belong

Prayers of the People

  • Praise the Lord for His creativity! He amazes us with his creation both large and small. There are constantly new things to discover and appreciate. Our God is creative!
  • We lift up our hurt and broken world to you O God. You gave us this place to be good stewards and we have not done well. Our actions and inactions have led to pollution, death, famine, floods, climate change and destruction across every single habitat and environment on our planet. We repent of our selfishness and greed. Please give us your eyes to see creation anew, your creativity to come up with solutions and your strength to make changes to heal this planet.
  • Together we pray for this country of Canada. We pray for all those elected that they might strive to work in unity with one another for the long term welfare of our country. We ask that our political leaders would be open so that we may continue to have the freedom to express and publicly live out the gospel of Jesus in our communities. We pray that the Holy Spirit would be invited into our politics so that we may, as a country, be led by You.
  • We give thanks for volunteers within our community of Muskoka. We praise you and thank you for the willing hearts and hands that reach out to help our people, programs and events. We pray that you would bless them with energy, passion and rejuvenation. We pray that they would inspire us and others to serve as well.
  • We lift up the Session of St. Andrew’s. We pray for our elders that they would be continually sustained by your Holy Spirit. We ask for wisdom, courage and grace to abound with them. Help us to encourage our church leadership and support them as they work for your glory in St. Andrew’s.
  • Praise the Lord for His designs, plans and creation. He creates both seen and unseen things, connecting them together in His good will. We praise God as we learn how He makes things work using biology, chemistry, astronomy, physics, and geology to learn about His creation. Praise God who is greater than we can fathom!
