A Christ-centered community where we bring, bless, build and belong

  • Praise our Lord who gives us life! He made us, breathed into us, and sacrificed to give us eternal life with Him. We praise you, the life-bringer, life-changer, and life-giver of us all!
  • We lift up the Tokyo Olympics: We ask for your protection, God, on the athletes, coaches, support staff and all the people organizing the events as they wrap up the Olympics and begin to travel back to their communities. We pray that you would block any spread of Coronavirus. We pray especially for the city of Tokyo that they would be blessed by the Olympics being in their city, rather than impeded. We praise you that we are fearfully and wonderfully made and can celebrate the talents and efforts of our athletes.
  • Together we lift up the federal and provincial leaders of Canada. We ask that you would give them knowledge, wisdom and compassion as they reopen communities to travel, business and education. We pray that a unified spirit of grace permeate our governments so that laws, policies and guidelines would be constructed in the best way possible. Lord, you are in control, and we pray for your will to be done through your people in government.
  • We give thanks that our community has reopened for business and that our service industry has customers. We are thankful. We ask that you, Lord, would continue to protect our community from Covid outbreaks and give wisdom and compassion to those interacting with people from within and without our local area.
  • We lift up our congregation to you Lord Jesus. We pray that we may communicate with each other in grace and truth. We pray that you would use our words and actions to draw people closer to you and to each other so that we worship you together. We pray for those feeling isolated, overwhelmed and alone. Please help us to reach out in your Holy Spirit both to help and be helped.
  • We pray for Howard Hawes as he begins chemotherapy. Lord we ask for the treatments to work well and that side effects are minimal. We pray for healing and strength for both Howard and Anne as they go through this process.
  • Praise the Lord for the rain we have had in our community! We are thankful for the lower fire ban, for healthy trees and forests and green gardens. Praise the Lord for the rain!
