A Christ-centered community where we bring, bless, build and belong

Prayer Items:

  • Praise the Lord who is unchanging. Though the world, our community and our relationships change, you, Lord, are a rock we can rely upon. You do not change. Your holiness, grace, power and love are solid and unmoving. We can trust in you for you are the great I am.
  • We lift up Iran— we pray for the Christians living in Iran who suffer persecution, imprisonment and exile. We pray that you would give them strength and hope. We ask that you would work within the Iranian government so that Christians may come to openly worship and speak of you without the fear of imprisonment.
  • We pray for Canada as the history of residential schools continues to impact our peoples. We ask that you would help us use this as an opportunity for healing and reconciliation. We pray that you would still any violence, and give peace to those responding in anger or fear. Lord, you know all things and we ask that you would help us seek truth, justice and healing in the midst of anger, fear and frustration.
  • Together we pray for the people in our church who are working through the outcome of General Assembly. Lord, give us the faith to trust in you with full assurance that your will is being done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us not to sin in our anger, frustration or hurt. Guide our thoughts, words and actions so that they may glorify you at all times. Please give knowledge, wisdom and strength to the elders, teaching and leading, at St. Andrew’s as decisions and future direction is discussed.
  • We ask for your hand to be upon those working in our judicial system. We pray for the judges, lawyers, associates, assistants, police, investigators, by-law officers and support people who are involved in seeking justice and protection for our community. We pray that you would protect them and give them wisdom as they address the sin and wrongs between individuals and parties. Give them strength to persevere, knowledge to prevent bias, and love to handle the hurting. May your justice and grace be expressed clearly through your people working in Muskoka’s judicial system.
  • Praise the Lord for the rain! He is watering the trees, the farms, the flowers. He is filling up the lakes and rivers. We praise God for the rain!
