As Chair of the National Prayer Breakfast of Canada, I invite you to join us for the 56th annual National Prayer Breakfast, “Our Certain Hope”. Since 1964, the National Prayer Breakfast has been an opportunity to gather at the heart of Canada’s democracy to lift up national leaders of all kinds, our brave men and women in uniform, and our fellow Canadians in need. This year is no different other than it will be a virtual event.

Each year, the National Prayer Breakfast is held under the auspices of the Speakers of the Senate and the House of Commons. Once again, guests and participants will include Canadian and International Christian faith leaders, Ambassadors, fellow Members of Parliament, Senators, and Canadians tuning in from across our nation and abroad.

Canada’s compassion and willingness to share our freedoms with those who desire to make our beautiful country their home has deep roots in our beginnings and growth as a nation built on the foundations of the Christian faith. The National Prayer Breakfast of Canada welcomes those of other faiths, providing an opportunity to observe the traditions and tenets of the Christian faith.

The 56th Annual National Prayer Breakfast will premiere virtually on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 8:00 am (EDT) on YouTube and Facebook. No registration or fee is required to watch the event.
