Join us after worship on Sunday, September 15th for a fundraising BBQ for our Guatemala Mission Team. Bring a lawn chair to sit outside if the weather is nice!
Mission Team to Nebaj is going again!
The Mission Team is going to Nebaj March 29th to April 7th, 2025. If you are interested in joining our team and taking part in an awesome ongoing project of building the Hospital in Nebaj, please come to a meeting Tuesday, July 30th at 7pm. Contact the church office for the meeting location and team leader information.
Faith’s Orphans Sewing Day – May 7th
Join us for Faith’s Orphans Sewing Day at Pinegrove Church in Bracebridge on Tuesday, May 7th from 9am to noon. If you have completed clothing to donate for this mission in Zambia, or would like to pick up dress kits (including all materials) and instructions if you would prefer to work from home, please contact the church office for more information.
Dessert Night – Guatemala Mission Trip 2024
On May 4th at 7pm, the Guatemala Mission Team will be sharing about their time in Nebaj in the Goforth Hall along with tea, coffee and small desserts. Thank you for all your support!
Guatemala Mission Team: Dinner and Auction
The Guatemala Mission Team will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Included will be a Silent Auction and a Bake Sale, Doors open at 4 p.m. with dinner at 5:30 p.m. Location: St. James Anglican Church, Gravenhurst. Tickets are at the Welcome Desk.
Dessert Night: Guatemala Mission Team Presents
Come out for great desserts on Saturday, November 11th at 7pm! The Guatemalan Mission team to Nebaj is hosting a dessert night. We will be introducing our April 6 to 16, 2024 Mission Team and hear from Brad Wilson, Director of Impact Hope. Juan Pablo and Carolina Noriega will give us an update on the Nebja hospitalito by pre-recorded message. Looking forward to seeing you!
Christmas shoeboxes – due Nov 12th
Let us participate in the mission of Operation Christmas Child! Packing a shoebox with small gifts and treats is something your whole family can do together. Please check out the display table in the front foyer for shoeboxes and more information. Every box we pack will brighten a child’s life and give the child an opportunity to learn about Jesus’ love. Boxes are sent all around the world. Please return filled boxes to the church by November 12th.
Faith Orphans Sewing Day – Sept 12th
Join us on Sept 12th from 9am to noon at Pinegrove Church in Bracebridge for some sewing/knitting together. If you are sewing or knitting for Faith’s Orphans on your own time, please have items ready for the next shipment to Zambia. Dress patterns available to be picked up.
Potluck and Presentation – July 23rd
Join us on Sunday, July 23rd at 4:45pm for a for a potluck supper and 6pm for a presentation of the Christian Persecuted Rescue project given by retired pastor Bob Graham and the Qaisar refugee family now living in Barrie. An offering to support the refugees in Barrie also will be received.
Goodbye Phagos! BBQ June 25th
There will be a goodbye BBQ at 11am after the worship service on June 25th for the Phagos. We wish them well as they move back to Newfoundland.
